  Really Appalling - Went to store during week and it was mercifully quiet. Of course still no where to park, but got in somewhere. The store only had two families in so all good. NO - we were asked if we were being helped, no said we appreciative of the assistance - Then go out side take a number and wait your turn was the curt reply. So we did and 25 minutes later left, no one entered in that time to the hallowed halls of being allowed to shop. Appreciate this if it was busy, but it wasn't, just really , really slow. There were more people waiting than being served!! and plenty of staff milling. But I guess if you have a captive shopping group you don't need to worry about customer service - and Fosters seem not to. UPDATE - Completed our order online, heard nothing for two weeks, then informed part of order stuck in India. Despatched in stock items well after the postal date, took full payment for even undelivered items and informed me order complete. No further communication and we are now 26 days after order. If this were any other company I would be saying Avoid, but of course as parents we cant.

  Appalling place! The "shop" is very run down and grubby with totally inadequate parking. There is a ticket system operating with long waits in a squalid lobby area. In three years of trying to buy school uniform here I have never once been able to complete the purchase without placing orders and waiting 10 days for them to be made. Stock control is woeful.

  My daughter and I had very pleasant experience today with Fosters. The young girl helping us made our visit very easy and suprisingly fast! She picked out the right sizes just by looking at her!

  Awful customer service. Poor teenagers getting the brunt of customers anger. We get told the managers busy, no responsibility from the manager. Worst customer service ever
